Valorant 5v5 – Rulebook
1. Event Information
Event Name: Lenovo and Intel present the S8UL Gaming Festival
Dates: 29th – 30th July, 2023
Location: Manpho Convention Center, Bengaluru
2. Tournament Overview
The Valorant tournament is a 5v5 competition played on PC.
The prize pool for the tournament is INR 2,00,000, with the distribution of INR 1,25,000 for
the 1st place winner, INR 50,000 for the 2nd place winner, and INR 25,000 for the 3rd place winner.
3. Tournament Format
The tournament is an offline LAN event.
Registrations will take place from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
The tournament matches will commence at 12:00 pm and conclude at 6:00 pm.
The tournament features a single-elimination bracket system.
4. Bye Rules
• If a team fails to show up, the opposing team will receive a bye for that round, allowing them to advance to the next round.
5. Prize Distribution
• Prize money will be transferred via bank transfer within 60 days of the invoice being filled. The invoice will be sent by the tournament lead.
6. Match Rules
All matches will be best of 1 (Bo1) with the grand finals being best of 3 (Bo3)
Players must use the peripherals provided by The Esports Club. Bringing or connecting
personal peripherals like controllers is not allowed.
All matches will be played using Custom Games (Tournament Mode) with only the
tournament organizer allowed to enter the observer slot.
7. Gameplay Rules
Each match will be played with the standard time limit for Valorant.
Each team is allowed 5 minutes of Technical Pause time.
Each team can only use the in-game pause feature for tactical pauses.
All agents and maps are allowed.
8. Game Integrity
The Esports Club reserves the right to order a game or match restart due to exceptional circumstances, such as significant bugs affecting a player’s ability to play or if a game or match is unable to finish.
Use of any bugs and exploits will lead to instant disqualification. 9. Sportsmanship and Conduct
Participants must not engage in harassment, hate speech, or any form of disrespectful behavior.
Any action or agreement to disadvantage other players, one’s own team, or other teams in the competition, to predetermine the outcome of a match, or to affect the fairness of the competition is strictly prohibited.
Player use of alcohol or drugs is prohibited on any live event premises, and players may not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol while participating.
Smoking, including the use of e-cigarettes and vaporizers, is prohibited at any live event, except in designated areas as per venue rules.
Players must maintain an appropriate level of respect, in Riot’s sole judgment, towards other players, referees, officials, event staff, and tournament administrators.
10. Match Scheduling
• Tournament matches are expected to be played at the scheduled match time. If an opposing team fails to show up after 5 minutes after the scheduled match time, the no-show must be reported to live support. Additional time may be given by tournament live support for best- of-3 matches.
11. Veto Process
Veto process is defined based on the map pool for best-of-1 and best-of-3 matches.

12. Protest Rules
• Insulting/misbehaving with the admin or the enemy team during the protest will lead to the protest being immediately dismissed, and the team in question will face instant disqualification or prize money forfeiture or both.
13. Account Sharing
Players are strictly forbidden from sharing any details of their accounts with any other competitor or member of the public for any reason.
These rules are designed to ensure fair play, sportsmanship, and a positive tournament experience for all participants. Participants are expected to follow these rules, and any violations may result in penalties or disqualification from the tournament, as determined by The Esports Club and its organizers.
